Diamond View Auto Glass began with my grandfather Steve Silva (Silva’s Mobile Glass), who spent years doing mobile auto glass work throughout Santa Cruz County. He believed in doing the job right the first time, using quality materials, and treating people fairly. That’s how he built a solid reputation and a steady base of return customers—one windshield at a time.
In 2014, I took over the business as he was preparing to retire. I started out working from a van, just like he did—traveling from job to job, handling windshield replacements, rock chip repairs, and door glass replacements on-site. It is challenging, hands-on work, and I always made sure every customer was satisfied with the work.
By 2021, I was ready to take the next step and open a shop. I found a location at 433 Ocean Street in Santa Cruz, which has been our home base ever since. Having a shop has allowed us to work more efficiently and take on more jobs, while still offering mobile service when customers need it.
At Diamond View, we focus on using top-quality glass and adhesives, and we take the time to do each job carefully—no shortcuts. Whether you’re dealing with a small chip or a full glass replacement, we aim to provide reliable work, honest communication, and customer service that goes the extra mile.
We’ve been serving the Santa Cruz community for over a decade, and we plan to keep doing it the right way for many more years to come.
